Tennessee will post to eBay one application for an elk hunt in October. The listing will appear on eBay from July 16th to July 25th. 100% of the proceeds will go to the exclusive benefit of the elk restoration program. So this brings up an important question. This is the first elk hunt in over 150 years, only 5 tags were issued for the entire state. 4 will be given to lucky winners. The odds of landing one of the tags is 1 in the millions. Now to make a quick buck off the hunt, the state will give an opportunity for a wealthy person to buy the final tag.
This totally screws over the “average Joe” because the price for the auction will be in the thousands of dollars. Anyway to make a quick buck now-a-days.
