Live Hunting Updates Via Twitter

Friday, July 10, 2009 21:32

I’m looking to track hunter’s updates in the woods live.  I figured the best technology to use for would be the obvious Twitter.  I want hunters to post live updates during their hunt…whether sitting in the freezing cold seeing nothing, the first minutes of seeing a trophy buck, or the the final seconds of a long search for your trophy….we want you to Tweet it.  I’m open to suggestions on what to use: #livehunting, #huntlive, #inthewoods…you call it.

This will allow any of us on Twitter to follow all hunters in the fields and woods.  We can utilize the Twitter Search functionality.  I think there will be nothing better than to track hunter progress during the open season, complete with pictures and hourly updates.  Let’s see if we can get something going today before all the seasons open up.
